Dr.Prescribe for Windows

Run Dr.Prescribe on your clinic PC and keep it in sync with your phone over local Wi‑Fi. Same offline, on-device model — nothing goes to a cloud server.

First run: Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” notice because the installer isn’t code-signed yet. Click More info → Run anyway to continue. This is expected and safe.

You’ll need the Dr.Prescribe phone app to activate the desktop. The Windows app unlocks by pairing with your phone over local Wi‑Fi — that’s how your patients and settings reach the computer. Open the phone app → Connect to computer, then follow the steps below.

Install & pair

Three steps, a couple of minutes.

  1. Install on your PC

    Download DrPrescribe-Setup.exe above and run it. It adds Desktop and Start Menu shortcuts and appears in Add/Remove Programs. No .NET or other runtime is needed.

  2. Open “Connect to computer” on your phone

    In the Dr.Prescribe phone app, go to Connect to computer. Make sure the phone and the PC are on the same Wi‑Fi network.

  3. Pair & sync

    Launch Dr.Prescribe on Windows and follow the on-screen pairing prompt from your phone. Once paired, your patients and settings sync both ways — and stay in sync whenever both devices are on the same network.
